Falcons and Hawks! Falconry at Santa Ysabel West, Sunday, April 8, 2018

Sunday, April 8th learn about the world's oldest hunting style and sport of kings from Master Falconer Cisco Clibourne. Experience the world's fastest animal, the Peregrine falcon, in action as he swoops to Cisco's lure from amazing speeds. Get up close and personal with Cisco's two Harris hawks, Julian and J.J., as they fly to your fist under his expert guidance. This is a chance of a lifetime, one you won't soon forget! This event is free and for all ages.

 

Time: 9:00 am - 11:30 pm
Bring: Water, a hat and chair, and sunscreen

Location: the  Santa Ysabel West Preserve Highway 78  (approximately one mile west of Santa Ysabel and 12 miles east of Ramona, across from 29313 Highway 78, Santa Ysabel, CA 92070).
