May 16th, Opening Night Event for 2014 3rd Annual Julian Film Festival

Chef Jeremy Manley and Jeremy's On The Hill will host the 2014 3rd Annual Julian Wild & Scenic Film Festival kick-off event on Friday evening, May 16th from 6-8:30pm.  The special "farm-to-table" event will feature food from local organic farms. Hors d'oeuvres by celebrity Chef Jeremy Manley (who also started Julian's farm-to-school lunch program), plus a no host bar will be available throughout the evening.

The event will feature a short film on the farm-to-table movement, and a talk by Tricia Elisara, who started Julian Elementary School's garden, on the positive effects of kids eating food they have grown and harvested. Some of the filmmakers will also be on hand during the soirée.

The Julian Film Festival is sponsored by and benefits the Volcan Mountain Foundation.  Attendance for the Friday night kick-off event is included with a Full Weekend Festival Pass ($35), or a Friday Night Only Ticket may also be purchased ($25).  Visit www.JulianFilmFestival.com for tickets and more information.
