Hidden Trails of the West Preserve, Saturday, June 10th, 8am-10:30am

Date:
Saturday, June 10, 2017 - 8:00am

Saturday, June 10th from 8am-10:30am head off the beaten track. Join Ranger Doug on some of the back trails of this gorgeous preserve, where you can literally "go over the river and through the woods!" You'll get to enjoy one of the largest stands of Engelmann oaks in the state and see great views of the Santa Ysabel valley from the north end of the trail.

This 6-mile hike has lots of hills and is considered strenuous.  Wear sturdy hiking shoes; bring plenty of water and a snack for the trail. Meet at 8:00 am at the Santa Ysabel West Preserve Highway 79 gate--approximately 1 mile west of Santa Ysabel and 12 miles east of Ramona, across from 29313 Highway 78, Santa Ysabel, CA 92070.
