The 2014 3rd Annual Julian Wild & Scenic Film Festival will wrap up on Saturday night, May 17th from 7:30-10:30pm at Julian’s historic Town Hall with an awards ceremony and party.
Chef Jeremy Manley and Jeremy's On The Hill will host the 2014 3rd Annual Julian Wild & Scenic Film Festival kick-off event on Friday evening, May 16th from 6-8:30pm. The special "farm-to-table" event will feature food from local organic farms.
Saturday, March 15th, Volcan Mountain Foundation friends and interested volunteer docents are invited to join naturalist Sharyl Massey for an early morning bird walk at Lake Cuyamaca. If you are interested in learning the basics of bird identification and ecology, then join Sharyl and friends for a leisurely walk along the lake where you will learn the skills to identify a variety of bird species in addition to getting a close up look at their behavior.

County Park Docent and Julian Historical Society President Ed Huffman will discuss the history of the Santa Ysabel Rancho in its early days as a Native American village, Spanish Land Grant with its ties to the Santa Ysabel Mission and 200 year history of cattle ranching. This area was vital to the growth of early San Diego and the whole of California. Come and learn!
