Earth Day Weekend--Operation Backcountry Clean-Up; Sunday, April 22, 2018

Sunday, April 22nd, 2018, the Volcan Mountain Foundation is joining forces with the San Diego Backcountry Visitors Bureau and the Julian Chamber of Commerce for the biggest community clean-up event we've ever had in the backcountry!

Operation Backcountry Clean-Up takes place on Earth Day Weekend, and all local community members, businesses and tourists are invited to participate.

Check-in will commence at 9:30am, and we'll break up into teams at that time. Registration for the event will be at the Julian Town Hall. Each registrant will be provided with a wrist band that they can then use to redeem 'thank yous' at selected businesses in Julian throughout the day, including: Candied Apple Pastry Company and Wynola Pizza & Bistro.

Teams will be assigned to different areas of town to clean-up as much of the region as possible.

Later, there will be an after party at the Julian Station for the Sunday 'Music at Julian Station' from 1pm to 4pm.

Registration Location: Town Hall on Main Street (2129 Main Street, Julian, CA 92036)

Registration: 9:30 am - 10:00 am

Clean-Up: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

After-Party: Julian Station (4470 Hwy 78/Julian Road, Julian, CA 92036); 1pm - 4pm
