Julian Natural Wonderfest, Saturday, August 11, 2018

Date:
Saturday, August 11, 2018 - 3:00pm

Saturday, August 11th, from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, come experience the Julian Natural Wonderfest at Jess Martin Park (2955 Highway 79, Julian, CA 92036)!

This is a FREE family-friendly event, celebrating nature by day and night with animal ambassadors, games and activities, nature exhibits and presentations, music and camp songs, a star party and more. Come up early to Julian and take a family-friendly hike along Santa Ysabel Creek or tour the California Wolf Center.

Organizing partners include Julian Dark Sky Network, Julian Chamber of Commerce, County of San Diego Department of Parks & Recreation, Volcan Mountain Foundation and Wildlife Research Institute -- many other local nature and environmental organizations will be represented as well. Special appearance by the Perseid meteor shower...and, of course, our own Milky Way!

Be sure and bring a picnic lunch or dinner and/or you can eat in or get take out at one of Julian's local restaurants or stores. There will be no food services at the event, but there will be a van shuttle service running between Jess Martin Park, Main Street Julian and the Julian Library. Jess Martin Park offers picnic tables, but you may also want to bring your own folding chairs for this event.

Check back periodically for updated information.
