Shooting Stars and Hot Cocoa at Santa Ysabel West Preserve, Thursday, December 13, 2018

Thursday, December 13th, bring your family and friends for a magical mountain shooting-star party at the Santa Ysabel West Preserve! Bring your camp chairs and blankets to the clear skies of San Diego's backcountry on the peak night for viewing the Geminids meteor shower. County park rangers will set-up a free hot cocoa station and open the large staging area for this special late-night preserve experience.

Date: Thursday, October 13th

Time: 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Location: Santa Ysabel West Preserve Highway 79 gate - approximately one mile west of Santa Ysabel and 12 miles east of Ramona, across from 29300 Highway 78, Santa Ysabel, CA 92070.

Bring: Warm blankets or your comfy sleeping bag, camp chairs, snacks (free hot cocoa will be provided)

Wear: Warm clothes and a jacket or coat.
