Volunteer Stewardship Day Saturday, April 2 2022
Saturday, April 2 - Join Eric Jones and Susan Meyer for a stewardship day on Volcan Mountain. We'll be clearing the 1.7-mile Cedar Loop Trail that begins at Volcan's ridgeline. We'll be trimming trail side branches and removing downed trees using power equipment, including chainsaws.
This is a great opportunity to experience a trail that is part of the county's Volcan Mountain Preserve but not open to the public. If you are experienced using power tools and have the proper safety equipment, we'd love your help!

What to Bring and Wear: Snacks and/or lunch and water. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Bring your work gloves if you have them, and if you have powertools and safety equipment, bting them too. We'll have them as well!
Location: Volcan/Farmer Road gate (the north end of Farmer Road with the yellow END sign) 22850 Volcan Road/4002 Farmer Road, Julian, CA 92036 Note that this is a private gated property.
