Volunteer Stewardship Day Saturday, May 30, 2020

Date:
Saturday, May 30, 2020 - 10:00am

Saturday, May 30 -  Join VMF for a stewardship day on Volcan Mountain. We'll be removing invasive plants at VMF's Volcan Mountain Nature Center and clipping overgrown plants along VMF's 1.5-mile Sky Island Trail.

Due to Covid 19, we will maintain a distance of at least six feet apart from one another throughout the activity. Also, we will not be carpooling to reach the Sky Island Trailhead. Due to concerns about communal food consumption, VMF will not be providing food. Participants should bring their own food/snacks this time.

Date:  Saturday, May 30

Time:  10:00 am - 1:30 pm

Location: Volcan/Farmer Road gate (the north end of Farmer Road with the yellow END sign) 22850 Volcan Road/4002 Farmer Road, Julian, CA 92036

What to Bring and Wear:  Snacks, water and your work gloves if you have them (we'll have extras too). Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes.

Please note that this is a private gated property. Please CLICK HERE TO REGISTER or  call us at 760-765-2300 by 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 28 so we can make arrangements to get you on the property.
