Volunteer Stewardship Day Sunday, July 11 2021

Date:
Sunday, July 11, 2021 - 8:00am

Sunday, July 11, 2021 -  Join VMF's Executive Director, Eric Jones, for a stewardship day on Volcan Mountain. We'll be clearing the 1.7-mile Cedar Loop Trail that begins at Volcan's ridgeline. We'll be trimming trail side branches and removing downed trees using power equipment, including chainsaws.

This is a great opportunity to experience a trail that is part of the county's Volcan Mountain Preserve but not open to the public. If you are experienced using power tools and have the proper safety equipment, we'd love your help!

Date:  Sunday, July 11

Time:  8:00 am

Meeting Location: Volcan/Farmer Road gate (the north end of Farmer Road with the yellow END sign) 22850 Volcan Road/4002 Farmer Road, Julian, CA 92036

Bring:  Snacks, lunch, water, work gloves, powertools, and safety equipment. Wear sturdy shoes.
