Banner Toll Road Hike with the Canyoneers Sunday, April 14th, 2018

Sunday, April 14th: Hike with the San Diego Natural History Museum's Canyoneers along Julian's Old Banner Toll Road. You will see Volcan Mountain from a different view as well as Granite Peak and the Laguna Mountains. You'll also see a variety of spring wildflowers during this downhill walk to the old Warlock Mine. Re-energize with lunch before the uphill return. This is a three-mile roundtrip hike with an elevation gain/loss of 1,000 feet.

Meeting Location: At the end of Woodland Road, Julian, CA

Directions: (Julian) Drive east one mile from Julian on CA-78. Turn right on Whispering Pines Drive. Then make an immediate sharp right turn onto Banner Road. Go 0.1 mile. Turn left on Woodland Road. Go  0.3 mile (passing Miners Court.). Park on the street at the end of the road. No facilities. (GPS N33.078505, W116.583982)

Bring: Water and snacks or lunch for the hike
