Meteor Shower Party at Santa Ysabel Preserve West, Sunday, August 12, 2018
Sunday, August 12th, from 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm, join the Mountain-Borrego Preserve park staff, Curiosity Peak Observatory, and Julian Dark Sky Network for a chance to see one of summer's best night time shows - the Perseid meteor shower. Arrive at sunset and wait for the Double Cluster in Perseus to clear the horizon. You might be rewarded with bright fireballs that create long, dramatic streaks in the sky as they skim the atmosphere.

Time: 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Location: Meet at the Santa Ysabel Preserve West staging area (29313 Highway 78, Santa Ysabel,CA, 92070).
Bring: Jacket, water, snacks, flashlight, camp chair, and wear comfortable shoes.
