Wild Blackberry Picking Hike #2-Saturday, August 19th at 8am--Santa Ysabel East

Date:
Saturday, August 19, 2017 - 8:00am

Saturday, August 19th at 8 amjoin San Diego Country Park rangers on the 2nd hike and wild black berry pick.  Due to the popularity of the first “Hike and Wild Blackberry Pick”, we will offer it again. Where we go this time depends on how many people show up on the August 12th hike and how many blackberries are picked. Wear long pants due to the foxtail grass and the blackberry thorns, gloves may help. Bring a tub, bucket, or just pick and eat! It will be hot so bring plenty of water, a hat and bug net if you have one. We will have a shorter easy 3 mile hike if some would like and a moderate 7-8 mile hike.

Meet at the Farmer Road Staging Area of Santa Ysabel Preserve East, 114-117 Farmer Road, Julian CA 92036.

Please contact the San Diego County Park Ranger office for updates or more information, 760-765-4098.
