Step back in time to Civil War-era New England with recipes from Jenne Bergstrom and Miko Osada's "The Little Women Cookbook."
We'll celebrate notable author and abolitionist Louisa May Alcott and her wonderful characters in "Little Women" as we sip lemonade, nibble on afternoon supper, and hold lively conversations at the table. For those who wish, attend in a fancy outfit -- Amy would approve!
Menu includes: French Rolls, Roasted Chicken, Potted Ham, Cucumber Salad, Pickled Peaches, Federal Cake, Charlotte Russe, accompanied by Lemonade, Toast Water and Champagne (don’t tell Marmee!)
